TJ Bahr is a Project Engineer at ORBIS Corporation in Oconomowoc, WI. He has recently completed re-vamping the company’s ESD program. He is now in charge of implementing the company’s ESD product qualification program and assisting customers with their ESD needs. He has worked at ORBIS since 2016.

Prior to ORBIS, TJ worked for TNT Rescue Systems Inc., a company that produces Jaws of Life for firefighters.

TJ graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Management & Engineering Design.

Teerasart Songsa-ard is an ESD Coordinator of THO operation at Western Digital Storage Technologies (Thailand) Ltd., Ayutthaya, Thailand. He works at WD (Harddisk Business)-Thailand since 1997 as an ESD Control Engineering section till now. He is an iNarte Certified Engineer, TR53 Certified Technician/Auditor, Device Stress Testing of ESDA as well as a Certified ESD Program Manager.

He graduated with a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from KMUTNB University and Master degree in Statistic Science from NIDA University, Thailand.

Tom Terk is a Manufacturing Program Leader at GE Healthcare Global X-ray Detectors in North Greenbush, NY.  He leads the Refurbishment Operations for digital X-Ray detectors produced for various GE products, both medical and non-medical. In addition, he is the site ESD Team Leader and manages projects to expand the scope of refurbishment operations at the site.

Tom has extensive experience in the flat panel display and digital X-Ray detector industries, having served in various technical, process engineering, and supervisory roles at GE Global Research, OIS Optical Imaging Systems, and GE Healthcare.

When off work, Tom enjoys camping, visiting with children and grandchildren, working on his classic car, and making home improvements.

Tom has an A.A.S. in Chemistry from SUNY in Cobleskill, NY, a B.S. in Management from University of Phoenix, and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Tim Jeffries leads the Operations Centralized Process Engineering Group at Harris the Government Communications Systems Division.  He and his staff support the Development and Production Manufacturing Departments. As a 30+ year employee of Harris, Tim’s background includes roles in Production Engineering, Process Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Technology.

He is a past recipient of the Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award and the Harris General Manager’s Award.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending his time on the water wakeboarding with his wife Lisa and son, John.

Tim Maas is active as EMC/ ESD expert for more than 20 years. He currently owns Total ESD solutions, a Dutch based electrostatics consultancy company, which provides training, testing services, instrument calibration and expertise on ESD safe product design and working ESD safe.

Tim has worked for Océ Technologies BV (now known as Canon Production Printing) and ASML Netherlands BV as EMC/ ESD expert. Tim is a member of the Dutch standardization committee affiliated with IEC TC101 Electrostatics and a member of the ESDA since 2018.

Tim graduated in 1997 with a BSc in electrical engineering.

Tim Peterson is the Manufacturing Group Leader for Cameron Health, Inc.  He is responsible for the operations on the manufacturing line while producing subcutaneous implantable defibrillators.  Prior to this role, Tim was a Senior Industrial Engineer, also at Cameron Health, where he was responsible for facility and clean room construction, validation, and maintenance, process improvements and manufacturing engineering support, as well as updating the company ESD procedures and processes.  Tim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, camping, and flying

Tim has been the Engineering Supervisor for NRD Advanced Static Control (NRD, LLC) since 2011.  Along with engineering duties, he is also the Quality Manager, Facilities Supervisor, and IT Supervisor.  He is a veteran of the United States Navy Submarine Force, and holds a BSEE degree from the University of Vermont. Tim has been an ESDA member since 2014.

Outside of work, Tim is father to 3 kids, and enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, scroll saw woodworking, and golf.

Timothy Prass is a Senior Quality Engineer with Raytheon Technical Services Co., LLC. There he is a divisional AS9100 Lead Internal Auditor, Site and Divisional ESD Lead.  He is the acting Administrative Lead of the Raytheon Corporate ESD Council, which is currently implementing a corporate-wide ESD policy and specification.

Timothy has 25 years experience in design and manufacturing of electromechanical products with Trane Air Conditioning Co., United Technologies - Carrier, and Raytheon.

He earned his B.S.M.E. from Michigan State University, and MBA from Butler University.

Timothy is the working group chair of WG13, Hand Tools; secretary of WG 53, Compliance Verification; a statistics lead for the design and conduct of interlaboratory testing; and a member of the Standards Committee.

Todd Mills, PMP is a Principal Engineer at Honeywell FM&T in Kansas City, MO.

Todd has an MS Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas and BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota. He is a retired Naval Officer with a number of years at sea as part of both the surface and submarine communities.

Tung-Chen (Evan) Tsai has been working in the semiconductor industry for two decades, and more than one decade actively involved in the ESD protection field. He is currently holding a position as customer service & lab manager, and this ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration lab is specialized in repairing and calibrating ESD measuring/auditing instruments.

Evan relentlessly promotes the ESD protection awareness by introducing ANSI/ESD S20.20 concepts to customers, and offers prompt technical supports for dealing with ESD risk management and tricky issues. Since 2015, he has helped organize the TR53 Certified ESD Technician Training held annually by SH&A and ASCC in Taiwan and China. Also, Evan was invited as the designated instructor for the annual “Professional ESD Protection Engineer Training” held by T-ESDA (Taiwan ESD Association), starting from 2018, and still ongoing.

Being certified as an ESD Program Manager has been on Evan’s career plan list, and this achievement is the starting point to contribute his expertise and become an advanced ESD protection consultant/instructor.

Mr. Vijayakumar Veeraiyan has over 9 Years of Multinational experience in Manufacturing Process / Product Quality, Supplier, Product Development, Production and Customer Management in Automotive, Medical & Electronics Manufacturing Industries (SMT).

Currently, he is in the role of Quality Engineer at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, Hauppauge, New York. He has been working there since 2014 and had taken an additional role in 2017 as Global ESD Program Manager to rewrite / implement a successful ESD static control program in the factories across the world to help build and assure that products manufactured in an ESD-safe environment. Prior to joining at Spellman, he had worked in Tesla Motors as a Product Quality Engineer, Fremont, California and additionally at Valeo Clutches as Supplier Quality Engineer and Nokia Mobile Manufacturing (Microsoft) as Maintenance / Quality technician both in India.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Satyabhama University (2010), India followed by Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University (2012), Tempe, Arizona.

Wen Xie joined in TDK-SAE after he graduated from Nanchang University in 2011. SAE is a company which mainly produces hard disk drives and he is in charge of the assembly line ESD control system set up & maintenance and trouble shooting, he also handles the customer audit and the anti-ESD material evaluation. He gained a lot of experience in ESD control since the hard disk drive is the most ESD sensitive product and need very strict and overall ESD control.

Movie and music is his favorite activity during his spare time and he is also interested in the newly released electronic products.

Wes is an Industrial Engineer at Crystal Group in Hiawatha, Iowa. He graduated in 2024 with a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa. He is the current ESD coordinator and ensures the facility meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements. Along with ESD, Wes oversees day-to-day IE operations including tooling purchases, safety/ergonomics, and ensuring preventative maintenance and calibration tasks are completed on time.

Interests outside of work include playing/watching sports (pickleball/tennis, golf, and basketball), history, and spending time with family.
