Michelle Lam is an advisory engineer at IBM Tape Storage Characterization in San Jose, California. She has performed failure analysis on tape products with MR / GMR heads since 2000. She also has ESD control responsibility in the world wide tape head and drive manufacturing.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Toronto, Ontario, and her master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, California. She has been a member of ESDA since 2005.

Minh Do is currently the NASA/JPL Level A Instructor, Master IPC Trainer, and ESD Coordinator at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.  He has an MBA in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management.  Minh is an iNARTE Certified ESD Engineer.  He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and received multiple ASQ Certifications:  Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Quality Process Analyst, and Quality Inspection.

Minh is an active member of both NASA and IPC Workmanship Technical Committees. He is a Certified Master IPC Trainer for various workmanship standards: IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and IPC-J-STD-001. He accomplished the translation work with IPC for the IPC-A-610 VN, a Vietnamese version of IPC-A-610 Standard.

Minh is living with his wife Huong and daughter Dorothy.  His hobbies include dining out, reading, exploring new technologies, and spending time with his big family.

MSIE, Myrna Garcia

Myrna Garcia received her Master of Science in Industrial Engineering Degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2008. Myrna is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and holds a certification as lead audition for AS9100. Myrna received her ESD Program Manager Certification in 2023.

Myrna started her career managing US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations in the transportation industry in El Paso, Texas. In 2021, Myrna joined the quality, regulatory and ESD department in Flex at the Austin, Texas site.

Myrna has developed and implemented ESD and Agency compliance processes across the entire Austin site, along with corporate initiatives that have benefit the Flex worldwide organization.

Nelson Nunez is a Process Engineer and the ESD Coordinator for Luminar Technologies, based out of Orlando, Florida. He is a graduate from the University of Central Florida and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Most of his career has been involved with the LASER industry, working with optics and electronics.

Outside of work, Nelson is a gearhead through and through, loving all things with wheels. He enjoys autocross racing, off-roading, motorcycle riding, and bicycling.

Patanasak Prompakdee, Master of Engineering graduated the Data Storage Technology from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Bangkok Thailand in 2012, Bachelor Degree of Science graduated Physics from Thammasat University Thailand in 2008. He also certifies in, iNARTE ESD Technician as well as the ESD Program Manager.

Currently (2026), Patanasak is the Quality System Manager, working for Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Environment control at Fabrinet Thailand Head Operation, Fabrinet Thailand, Klongluang, Patumthanee and Sriracha Thailand.

Patsawat Tachamaneekorn is an ESD Program Manager at Seagate Technology, Teparuk, Thailand. He has been employed at Seagate since 1995 as an ESD & Contamination Control Engineer. Patsawat has been a member of the ESD Association since 1999 and has worked on translating ESD Association's standard documents into Thai. Most recently ANSI/ESD S20.20 - 2007.  As well as being the first Thai who got an ESD Certified Professional Program Manager, Patsawat is also the first Thai who got NARTE Certified ESD Engineer.

Patsawat earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand, and his Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering from Assumption University, Thailand.

Ray Nicanor M. Tag-at has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo Graduate School of Business.  He is a Certified ESD Engineer of the International Association of Radio, Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE).  He is currently working in Western Digital Phil. Corp., as the ESD Control Program Manager in Manufacturing Engineering spearheading the ESD Control of the company for more than 20 years and leading the WD Philippine site in its ANSI/ESD S20.20 certification. He was a former officer and chairman for the ASEMEP ESD Council (AEC) and has also contributed to the learning sessions during the past Philippines ESD Forums, AEC RMM, and ASEMEP national symposiums.

Known among associates as Bong, he is the ESD SME at ADI Philippines and its External Suppliers/Subconstractors across Asia Pacific for manufacturing processes and controls. He has been to many big name companies to perform assessments and help improve controls in preventing unwanted ESD events.

Bong began his career in the semiconductor industry in 1991 right after completing his Electronics and Communications Engineering degree at the top echelon of his class at the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines. In 2006, he was entrusted to oversee ADI Philippines’ ESD program.

A passionate, keen learner and a hands-on professional, he has earned his iNARTE ESD Engineer certification in 2010. He has been an active member of the ESD Association and Technical Committee of the Asia Regional chapter.

Robert (Hank) Mead is a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at BAE Systems in Endicott, NY. He has been working in the Electronics industry for over a decade, focusing primarily in Defense and Avionics. Hank received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and his Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. On the rare occasion that he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their dog.

Ron Gibson specializes in manufacturing process control, training, and facility certification in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20. He is well known internationally as an outstanding ESD practitioner and as a major contributor to ESD technology since 1987. He is Celestica International’s Global Engineering Consultant and Corporate ESD Program Manager. He provides ESD technical guidance to all Celestica manufacturing sites, worldwide. Ron is highly experienced in manufacturing technology, packaging and all areas of ESD control in the electronic manufacturing process.

Ron is active in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as the Standards Council of Canada’s (SCC) national representative. In his position as Chair for IEC Technical Committee (TC) 101, Working Group 5, the important ESD Program Standard IEC 61340-5-1 and Handbook IEC 61340-5-2 were fully redeveloped to be technically equivalent to ANSI/ESD S20.20. He served as the ESD Association’s Standards Chair for 10 years and has been a member of the ESD Association since 1988. He has been active in several standards development committees, a contributor to and past General Chairman of the EOS/ESD Technical Symposium, and served in every association officer’s position, including consecutive terms as Treasurer and ESDA President. As a co-founder and developer of the Professional ESD Program Manager Certification program, Ron has lectured and taught a variety of ESD courses internationally for major corporations and professional associations.

Ron received the ESD industry’s highest award, the ESDA Outstanding Contribution Award, for his innovation and extensive list of technical contributions. In particular, he chaired the development and launched the ESD Association’s Facility ESD Certification program based on the ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard. This important benchmark is designed to confirm the effectiveness of a facility’s ESD control program and reduce losses, manufacturing costs, and enhance product reliability. ESD Program Certification is provided to electronics manufacturing facilities only through 3rd party ISO9000 registrars. Ron’s team has trained over 160 ISO9000 Lead Assessors globally.
