    Steve is presently a Project engineer for Lockheed Martin Corporation supporting the Space Station Program. His responsibilities include primary cable and electronics engineer as well as supporting the ESD program for the contract he is working. 

    Before this, he was an Electrical and Computer engineer at United Space Alliance in Houston TX. He was the lead engineer for a number of projects including an upgrade to the astronaut communication headset used for launch and return. Prior to this he worked as an electronic technician on Space Shuttle simulator avionics including the primary computer for the Space Shuttle.

    Steve received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. 

    Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife Deanna and fulfilling his role as a pastor of a church near home.

    Stevan G. Hunter, PhD, has been an engineer in the semiconductor industry for 36 years. He currently is Sr. Principal Reliability Engineer at ON Semiconductor in Pocatello, ID, USA. He holds 2 US patents, and with 2 more pending. Stevan started with a BS degree in Physics from BYU, then in recent years returned to grad school to complete an MS in Measurement and Control Engineering, and PhD in Engineering and Applied Science at Idaho State University. He also enjoys adjunct teaching and supervising student research for the electrical engineering departments of ISU and BYU-Idaho. 

    Stevan is a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt through ASQ. He is involved with a number of international conferences as a senior member of IEEE and member of IMAPS, and is on the training committee of ESDA. Also is member of AVS, ASEE, ASTD, and is a jazz musician. Stevan is currently serving as president of the Idaho Academy of Science and Engineering.

    Dr. Steven H. Voldman is the first IEEE Fellow for “Contributions in ESD protection in CMOS, Silicon On Insulator and Silicon Germanium Technology” and recipient of the ESDA Outstanding Contribution Award.  He received his degrees from the Univ. of Buffalo (1979); Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); and from Univ. of Vermont. He supported semiconductor development for IBM, Qimonda, and TSMC corporations. He presently founded a limited liability corporation (LLC) consulting business supporting ESD design, teaching, and patent litigation.  He is an ESDA Board of Directors, Education Committee member, and WG5.5 TLP Chairman; author of the books. Physics and Devices,  ESD: Circuits and Devices, ESD: Radio Frequency (RF) Technology and Circuits,  Latchup, Silicon Germanium: Technology, Modeling and Design,  recipient of 175 US patents. He initiated the ESD on Campus  program visiting 31 universities (US, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and China).
