Gary is an Independent ESD Contractor/Consultant who retired as a Senior Principal Engineer from Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) in 2025 after 27 years in Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Design Quality leadership positions. Gary created and led the ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliant ESD Control Program for Rockwell Collins (which was acquired by United Technologies to form Collins Aerospace and subsequently merged with Raytheon Technologies to form RTX Corporation). He was the ESD Program Manager and primary ESD Subject Matter Expert for Collins Aerospace, and led a group consisting of on-site ESD Coordinators from each location.
Gary also developed and served as the Program Manager for the Collins AS9146 compliant FOD program. Prior to his tenure at Collins, his experience included significant work in the hard disk drive industry where he held leadership positions in New Product Development/Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain Quality at Digital Equipment Corporation in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He is now serving as an ESD and FOD contractor/consultant to the electronics and aerospace industries.
Gary received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Regis College, and also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Gary enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, hunting, and classic cars.

(Instructor)Read BiographyTexas InstrumentsGianluca Boselli completed his Masters in E.E. at the University of Parma, Italy, in 1996. In 2001, he completed his Ph.D. at the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
In 2001, he joined Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas, where he focused on ESD and Latch-up development for advanced CMOS technologies. Recently, his responsibilities extended into ESD development of Analog technologies.
He authored several papers in the area of ESD and Latch-up. He presented his work at major conferences, including EOS/ESD Symposium, IEDM, and IRPS. He also presented several invited papers and/or tutorials at the EOS/ESD Symposium, IRPS, IEDM, ESREF, and RCJ.
Dr. Boselli has been the recipient of the “Best Paper Award” on behalf of Microelectronics Reliability Journal in 2000. He received “The Best Paper Award” at the EOS/ESD Symposium in 2002. He also received the “The Best Presentation Award” at the EOS/ESD Symposium in 2002 and in 2006.

He continuously broadens his knowledge and consciously reflects it on semiconductor processes, then
designs the plant-certifiable ESD control program. With that, ESD has become one of the key fields in the
company's expertise program, and Gim-Wae is leading it.
He was appointed to be specialised in ESD since he was a fresh graduate and has over 10 years of
working experience. Gim-Wae progressively acquires certification over his career journey that started as
an iNARTE associate engineer in 2009, an iNARTE Engineer in 2016, TR53 Technician in 2017, Program
Manager in 2022 and continues. He has several published presentations at the ESDA symposium and is a
member of the local organising committee (LOC).
He has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, graduated from the Engineering Council UK and is a

He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Portland, OR and then spent 11 years as a Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer for the U.S. Navy specializing in Satellite Communications and whole ship EMC certification. Along the way an M.S. in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA was earned along with his sea legs! Joining Intel Corporation in 2017 shifted his EMC concentration from ships to chips specifically focusing on: ESD Controls and Process Assessments, Risk Assessment of intentional radiators, and Electric and Magnetic Field emissions. He is a certified ESD Program Manager and participant in ESDA process assessment and flooring working groups, member of IEEE EMC society with research papers as well as presentations to the local EMC chapter, and a member of the SEMI EMC task force. Enabling visualization of electromagnetic phenomenon through instrumentation and enhanced analysis has been his guiding principle throughout his career.

While with Micron Semiconductor Inc. Greg has worked in the Burn-in Test, Module Test, and Global Quality engineering groups. For the last 16 years he has focused on ESD and Latchup testing as the package test lab engineer and manager. He achieved iNARTE Certified ESD Engineer and ESDA Certified ESD Program Manager (2014) certifications and works on ESD yield issues, and overall improvement efforts for Micron's ESD factory controls program. He is a founding member of the Micron ESD Steering Committee, and is heavily involved with AEC, ESDA and JEDEC ESD and Latch-up industry working groups.
