ESD Association Standard for the Protection of Electrostatic Discharge Susceptible Items – Packaging Materials
This document defines the packaging properties required to protect electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) items throughout all phases of production, transport, and storage. Packaging requirements are defined to support the ESD control program requirements stated in ANSI/ESD S20.20. Test methods and limits are referenced for the evaluation of ESD protective packaging and packaging materials.

The redline version of ANSI/ESD S541-2026 includes both the official standard and its redline version. The redline version provides a quick and easy way to compare the changes between versions.
