ESD Association Standard for the Protection of Electrostatic Discharge Susceptible Items - Symbols

This document standardizes and clarifies the meaning of commonly available and in-use symbols used in the handling of ESD sensitive items. The correct usage of symbols will eliminate confusion between symbols that indicate an item is ESD susceptible (sensitive) and those that indicate an item or material is designed to afford some degree of ESD protection. This document is developed in accordance with international graphical guidelines and standards.

NOTE: ESD susceptible is interchangeable with ESD sensitive.
