AI Policy

The use of any ESDA standard, test method, material, text, or intellectual property (including any associated metadata) (collectively, with all other ESDA content or data, the “ESDA Content”) in any manner in standalone artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence systems or tools, or for any machine learning and/or artificial intelligence purposes, including without limitation for the purposes of training, translation, analysis, data mining, or development of artificial intelligence technologies or tools or machine learning language models, or otherwise for the purposes of using or in connection with the use of such technologies, tools, or models to generate any text, images, content, data, or any other material, create any output or derivative work based on or using any ESDA Content, and/or to synthesize or combine any ESDA Content with any other data or content is prohibited without prior written permission by ESDA.

Without limiting the general application of the restrictions in the previous sentence, you may not do any of the following without prior written permission from ESDA:

• Frame, harvest or scrape ESDA Content or otherwise access ESDA Content for similar purposes; or

• Use or permit the use, whether by automated means or otherwise, of any software, tool, or other device (including, but not limited to robots, crawlers, spiders, or scripts) on any ESDA Content, in order to copy, collect, or scrape any ESDA Content (other than any such use by a public search engine for the sole purpose of providing direct, non-amalgamated links to ESDA Content that do not include any generative or derivative works based on or including ESDA Content);

Any use of ESDA Content not specifically permitted above or permitted in writing by ESDA is expressly prohibited. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access to ESDA Content. ESDA expressly reserves all rights, recourses, and remedies under applicable law, rules, and regulations, and waives none.
