DNV Certified to Conduct ANSI/ESD S20.20 Audits (November 2000)
DNV Certification, Inc. has been certified by the ESD Association as the first ISO 9000 Registrar in the U.S. to be approved to conduct audits according to the ESD Association's new ANSI/ESD S20.20 ESD Control Program Standard.

ANSI/ESD S20.20-1999: Development of an Electrostatic Discharge Control Program covers the requirements necessary to design, establish, implement, and maintain an auditable facilities ESD control program to protect electrical or electronic parts, assemblies and equipment susceptible to electrostatic discharge ESD damage from Human Body Model (HBM) discharges greater than or equal to 100 volts.
