ESD Association Awards Research Grant

The ESD Association has presented a grant to help fund research in the area of ESD. The one-year grant is for $10, 000.
 
The grant was presented to Kaustuv Banerjee at the University of California at Santa Barbara for research on the advancement of ESD knowledge as we move toward nanometer technologies.
 
The research work on this project is scheduled for October 1st 2005 through September 30th 2006. The research topic is “Electrothermal Engineering of Multi-gate CMOS Devices for Improving Robustness under ESD Conditions”. The anticipated presentation is at the EOS/ESD Symposium in 2007.
