ESD Association Awards
Research Grant
| The ESD Association has presented
a grant to help fund research in the area of ESD. The one-year grant
is for $10, 000.

| The grant was presented to Kaustuv Banerjee at the University of California
at Santa Barbara for research on the advancement of ESD knowledge as we
move toward nanometer technologies. |
| |
| The research work on this project is scheduled for October 1st 2005
through September 30th 2006. The research topic is “Electrothermal
Engineering of Multi-gate CMOS Devices for Improving Robustness under
ESD Conditions”. The anticipated presentation is at the EOS/ESD
Symposium in 2007. |
