ESDA highlights Maciej Noras, Ph.D., trek, Inc., as an exemplary volunteer. Dr. Noras began his relationship with the ESD in 2003, when he presented papers at the EOS/ESD Symposium.

"I got to know several very nice people there, gaining not only professional connections, but also friends," said Dr. Noras. "I try to be active, especially in Ionization and packaging Standards committees, and enjoy that very, very much."

 

Educational and professional background

Dr. Noras earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wroclaw University of Technology in 1994, and his Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Southern Illinois University in 2000. He has authored more than 30 professional publications, is a member of IEEE, SPIE, ESDA, ESA, MRS, and co-chair of SEMI/EOS-ESD Task Force.


 
Personal information, interests, and hobbies

Dr. Noras, his wife Kanga and daughter Ola enjoy sports. Dr. Noras especially enjoys soccer, martial arts, hiking and mathematics.
