TOURIST INFORMATION

Formerly known as PORT D’ALBRET, VIEUX-BOUCAU’s touristic vocation established itself in the 30’s. Vieux-Boucau Port d’Albret has shown its wisdom by conserving large natural spaces both in the ocean dunes and the forest and giving human dimensions to the resort. The new touristic ensemble in PORT D’ALBRET built itself up around a 60 hectare sea lake which is accessible by the Mail, a superb pedestrian walkway.

In this beautiful area, you can enjoy golf, signposted walks and many miles of cycle paths, nautical sports and swimming at beaches with lifeguards.

The Belambra vvf at Port d’Albret called “Domaine de Pinsolle” is located 62 km from Biarritz and 165 km from Bordeaux. The closest train station is located in Dax at 33km from Port d’Albret.

Take exit 8 towards CAPBRETON/HOSSEGOR

Follow road sign CAPBRETON/HOSSEGOR/SEIGNOSSE

Take left on road D18 [2km]

Go through CAPBRETON town

Continue on road D28 / Avenue de Verdun (0.6km)

At roundabout, take 1st exit and continue on road D152
/ Boulevard des Cigales (2km)                 

Exit Capbreton

Continue on road D152 (5km)

Take road D79 (sur 10km)

At roundabout, take 2nd exit and continue on road D652 (1km)

Enter Port d’Albret (1km)

Continue on road D652 (0.4km)                          

At roundabout, take 1st exit and continue on Avenue de la Pêtre (0.1km)

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

If you fly through Bordeaux, you can take the TGV train and stop at Dax (about 1 hour travel time). You need to rent a car. Belambra vvf Port d’Albret is located 33 km from Dax.

The same TGV train can be taken from Paris at Montparnasse train station. Total travel time is about 4h30.
